Malong Bay is situated just north of Maya Bay on Ko Phi Phi Leh and a popular dive site after a surface break at this famous movie location. The terrain is beautifully rugged with large rocks and boulders which had once fallen into the ocean from the steep cliff face above which now create interesting swim-throughs and small cavernous areas.<\/p>\n

A real cave actually adds to the excitement in the middle of the dive site and, although not very deep, you can feel the massiveness of the mountain above you as the light slowly gets dimmer inside. Resident turtles are almost guaranteed at this dive site. Best daytime to dive: by far the late afternoon with the sun projecting against the rock face overhead.<\/p>\n
