KO HIN S.O.S.
Prachuap Khiri Khan
Ko Hin SOS is a submerged pinnacle just 300m north of Ko Ran Kai. The topmost portion is at 10m depth while the deepest end tapers off in the sand at 30m. The southern end hosts an impressive colony of black corals very typical for this area. However, don’t expect the black corals to be black as their polyps shine in bright white and neon yellow colors. (Only their stems are black)).
Ko Hin SOS is yet another dive site that offers divers the thrill of penetrating a cave. One opening is rather narrow but once inside, everything opens up and the interior is light flooded by an overhead chimney which transports light from the top of the pinnacle. A wider arch-like opening on the other side of the presents itself as an easier entry and exit point.
