Sand terrace is a dedicated sand dive – forget corals for just one dive and you will be in a whole new world of dive experiences. This place is home to a spectacular underwater phenomenon: the giant “Elephant Ear Sponges”. These sponges are unique in many ways: they only grow on sand • they grow up to over 2 meters in height • there is no other dive site known to feature this species of sponge.

But other than those impressive sponges, Sand Terrace is home to many nudibranchs and various other gems that can only be found in an environment this unusual.
