ANEMONE REEF

Phuket  | Ko Phi Phi

With its top end just barely under the water surface, Anemone Reef was the perfect ‘obstacle’ to bring the King Cruiser ship to its sinking – by accident or on purpose is yet to be determined. Pretty much half of the underwater pinnacle is literally covered with anemones so the name of this dive site is nowhere far fetched.

With the anemones in place there are millions of potential homes for various species of clown fishes which share the reef with other damsel fishes, cardinals and puffers. And if you are lucky you may encounter the all alluring Peacock Mantis Cleanershrimp!
