BIDA NOK – 3-FINGERS REEF
Ko Phi Phi
The 3-Fingers Reef of Bida Nok describes the area south-west of the southern bay where most Bida Nok dives take their start. Instead of following the eastern side to the shallow reef or the western side to the deeper side, just staying at these underwater formations describing 3 fingers is one of the most rewarding dives Ko Phi Phi has to offer.
This area is home to by far the largest aggregation of the yellow-tailed Bigeye Snappers which can be met there literally in the millions. The schools of fish will always stay near the top of the pinnacles, will pass divers at short range and sometimes form an overhead ceiling above so solid that light can not penetrate below. An unforgettable spectacle!
