Ko Phi Phi

Similar to the other eastern dive sites of Ko Racha Yai and Noi, Banana Rock is mostly characterized by a shallow slope of sand. In parts it is transformed by fields of coral and in some areas by large rock boulders. The true highlight of this dive site it its resident Giant Frogfish.

It pays to have a dive guide who knows where to find him as he is mostly camouflaged in the shape of a Porites Coral. Only an underwater torch will reveal its orange color different from the surrounding texture of the reef. Similarly concealed, stone fish can also be encountered at this site.
